KATHERINE STANGLE
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
Katherine Stangle provides a diversified background of experience in innovative Landscape Architecture. Her design philosophy concentrates
on aesthetic solutions derived from site specific social and ecological
patterns. As a strong proponent of client participation within the design process, Ms. Stangle strives to provide landscapes that are innovative
in their solutions as well as responsive to specific client needs. Her
designs emphasize the need to provide experiential landscape spaces
that can engage minds and senses alike.
Ms. Stangle's design awards include an A.I.A. Award of Merit and
a California Council Design Award for Excellence for a series of
small contemplative landscapes designed for Stepping Stone a drug
and alcohol rehabilitation facility located in San Diego California.
She was also presented with an A.I.A Merit Award for the
11th Avenue Housing Project in Escondido, California.
